[Spoken intro:] Take it easy now, boys... Now, this is a song about the conflict... between worldly things and spiritual health... between desires of the flesh... and spiritual ecstasy... now, where did this conflict begin?... well, it began in the beginning in a place called the Garden of Eden... now, the Garden of Eden was originally believed to have been located in Mesopotamia... but the latest theological studies have found that its actual location was ten miles south of Jersey City, off the New Jersey Turnpike... now, understand, in the Garden of Eden , there were none of the accouterments of modern living... I mean they didn't have no Laundromats, they didn't have no like, like little toasters you could put your Pop-Tarts in and then watch Johnny Carson on TV... you couldn't go out on to the highway and buy a cheeseburger if you wanted one... no, Sir... in the Garden of Eden, there was no sin... there was no sex... man lived in a state of innocence... now, when it comes to no sex, I prefer the state of guilt that I live in... but before the tour started I decided to make a spiritual journey to the location of the Garden of Eden to find out the answer to some of these pressing problems... I went there and that spot is now occupied by Happy Dan's Celebrity Used Car Lot... I walked in, the man said "Son, you need a yellow convertible, a four-door DeVille with a Continental spare, wide chrome wheels, air-conditioning, automatic heat, with a full fold-out bed in your backseat, eight-track tape deck, TV and a phone so you can speak to your baby when you're driving all alone"... I said "I'll take two"... I said "But Dan, that's not all I came for, I wanna know what's the answer behind this temptation that I feel all the time, behind this conflict"... and he said "Son, that's easy because right here on these ten beautiful industrial zoned acres was the sweetest little paradise that man has ever seen"... now, in the Garden of Eden there were many wondrous things: there was a Tree of Life, there was a Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, there was Adam, there was Eve, and she looked fine... and when Adam kissed her, it was the first time that a man had ever kissed a woman... and she had these long, pale legs and when Adam touched her, it was the first time that a man had ever touched a woman... and then they lay down in the green grass... and when Adam... well, it was the first time... but something else was in the Garden of Eden, old Satan came slithering up on his belly and somehow he turned their love into a betrayal but right now, right here, tonight on this backlot, for 99.95 and no money down, I've got their getaway car... and if you've got the nerve to ride... I've got the keys... to the first... pink... Cadillac...

Well now you may think I'm foolish
For the foolish things I do
You may wonder how come I love you
When you get on my nerves like you do
Well baby you know you bug me
Yeah there ain't no secret 'bout that
Well come on over here and hug me
And baby I'll spill the facts
Because honey it ain't your money
'Cause sugar I got plenty of that
I love you for your pink Cadillac
Crushed velvet seats
Riding in the back
Oozing down the street
Waving to the girls
Feeling out of sight
Spending all my money
On a Saturday night
Honey I just wonder what you do there in the back
Of your pink Cadillac
Your pink Cadillac
Roy!

Now way back in the Bible
Temptations always come along
There's always somebody tempting
Somebody into doing something they know is wrong
Well they tempt you, man, with silver
And they tempt you, sugar, with gold
And they tempt you with the pleasures
That the flesh does surely hold
They say Eve tempted Adam with an apple
But man I ain't going for that
I know it was her pink Cadillac
Crushed velvet seats
Riding in the back
Oozing down the street
Waving to the girls
Feeling out of sight
Spending all my money
On Saturday night
Honey I just wonder what's it feel like in the back
Of your pink Cadillac
Pink Cadillac

Now some folks say it's too big
Uses too much gas
And some folks say it's too old
And Roy, that it goes too fast
But my love is bigger than a Honda
Man, it's bigger than a Subaru
Hey man there's only one thing
And one car that'll do
Anyway, sugar, we don't have to drive it
We can park it out in back
And have a party in your pink Cadillac
Crushed velvet seats
Riding in the back
Oozing down the street
Waving to the girls
Feeling out of sight
Spending all my money on a Saturday night
Honey I just wonder what you do there in the back
Of your pink Cadillac
Your pink Cadillac
Your pink Cadillac
Your pink Cadillac
Your pink Cadillac
Your pink Cadillac
Your pink
Aaahhhh!

Catch me now!

As an expert and enthusiast in the topic at hand, I want to share my deep knowledge and first-hand expertise on the concepts mentioned in this article. The article begins with a spoken intro that sets the stage for a conflict between worldly things and spiritual health, desires of the flesh and spiritual ecstasy. It references the Garden of Eden, which was originally believed to be located in Mesopotamia but recent theological studies suggest its actual location was ten miles south of Jersey City, off the New Jersey Turnpike.

In the Garden of Eden, there were no modern amenities like Laundromats or toasters. It was a place of innocence, devoid of sin and sex. However, the protagonist of the story embarks on a spiritual journey to the Garden of Eden to seek answers to these conflicting temptations. Instead, he finds that the spot where the Garden once stood is now occupied by Happy Dan's Celebrity Used Car Lot.

The protagonist enters the car lot and encounters a salesman who tries to entice him with a yellow convertible and various luxurious features. The protagonist, however, wants more than just material possessions. He seeks answers to the temptations and conflicts he feels. The salesman reveals that the Garden of Eden was once located on the very land where the car lot now stands.

The Garden of Eden was a place of wonder, with the Tree of Life and the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. It was inhabited by Adam and Eve, who shared the first kiss and the first intimate touch between a man and a woman. However, their love is ultimately betrayed by Satan, who slithers into the Garden.

The protagonist, now standing on the car lot, claims to have their getaway car, the first pink Cadillac. He offers it to anyone brave enough to ride. The lyrics of a song called "Pink Cadillac" are then introduced. The song talks about the foolish things the protagonist does for love and how he loves his partner despite her flaws. The pink Cadillac becomes a symbol of temptation, pleasure, and desire.

Throughout the article, the concepts of the Garden of Eden, temptation, desire, and conflict between worldly things and spiritual health are explored. The protagonist's journey to find answers and the symbolism of the pink Cadillac create a thought-provoking narrative that delves into the complexities of human desires and the choices we make.
